Hi, I’m Jen!
I’m a Washington State native turned sunshine-loving desert dweller who loves getting messy, crafty and making all the things! I am a mom of two amazing creative girls who have shown me how much fun learning through play can truly be. For the past 11 years, I’ve been teaching K–8 art in the Deer Valley Unified School District where my passion for creativity, learning, and joyful mess-making has only grown stronger.
YAAY Creative Studio is a dream turning in to a reality—a place where kids can play, make and just be kids. I believe the best kind of learning happens through creativity and play. I want children to feel confident trying new things, fearless about making mistakes, and excited to bring their big ideas to life.
This space was built for connection, imagination, and most importantly FUN. Whether your child is splattering paint, building with cardboard, or digging into sensory bins, they’ll be growing in all the best ways.
